Color and texture coming out with this warmer weather!
Hi! I’m back, and it’s May! And it’s Monday :) After finally feeling well enough to come back to work after my surgery, I got a nasty head cold. Sooo…out again! But I’m back, feeling much better, and we finally have some sun here in New England! Wishing you a productive and fun week xo
// Dream house!
Welp - Happy Thursday and goodbye to last weeks post because I saved over it…haha. Classic!
So I’m having foot surgery tomorrow, hence the Thursday post. And I’m unsure if I’ll be posting next Friday since I’ll be hangin at home recovering - so maybe see you in awhile?
Wishing everyone a great weekend and Easter holiday :) xo

UGH - I saved over this post - oops!
This courtyard is pretty cool tho! We are getting our yard in shape for the summer and we are so excited to get outdoor furniture and a grill. I am so looking forward to dinners outside and lazy weekend hangs out there.
Oops! Happy Monday, friends :) I was out on Friday dealing with some car issues, so here we are. Other than the car stuff, I had a great weekend - the weather was awesome and we saw some friends and did some yard work. How was your weekend? xo

Hello, hello! I’m still in New Orleans having a grand ole time! The conference has been very fun and informative and I’m seeing a good friend from hs this evening. Plus - New Orleans is just stunning! The architecture, the food, the weather 😍. I will be back again someday!
Have a great weekend! Xo

The color of that hibiscus latte is gorgeous! I purchased some hibiscus tea a few years ago for the pretty tin it was in, but it ended up being really tasty…I think I will have to give it a go again! And this pop of color is very welcome on this gross, dreary day. We have a weekend of birthday celebrations this weekend which is going to be so much fun! Beer and pizza with friends at Hanging Hills in Hartford on Saturday, and brunch at Rooster Co. on Sunday with our parents for my mom’s birthday.

// My fitbit from a few years ago finally bit the dust, so I ordered the new Inspire HR! I’m so excited to try it out - and this time I got a fun leather band for day wear. I looooove my fitbit - especially for my weekly soccer games and tracking my sleep. I’m pumped for a smaller band and sleeker look. This article was a nice read on the updates. (obviously not sponsored…but hey, Fitbit, call me ;))
// These wallpapers!! *heart eyes* I’ve actually been to the bathroom with the stary ceiling! It’s in NYC near my friends apartment. We got day drunk on bottomless mimosas and bellinis - good times lol :)
// I’m so excited to watch Shrill! Have you seen the trailer?
What a peachy little cup ;)
Happy Friday! Curtis and I are heading up to Vermont this weekend for some skiing with friends, and we’re hoping we might get a little bit of this spring weather. Spring skiing is the best! If not, it will be fun all the same! Since it’s near St Patricks day, the mountain has a super fun vibe - we went up last year as well and there was live music and we had beers on the patio.
Have a great weekend! xo
// Are ya’ll on the mom jean train?! I scored some vintage jeans at goodwill recently for $3 that I am so excited about! But I do want to snag a more fitted version like these.
Have I mentioned that I’m going to be in New Orleans at the end of the month for a conference?! I am SO excited! I went to this same conference last year when it was in Seattle - which was also an amazing trip. This time Curtis won’t be accompanying me unfortunately, BUT I am hoping to meet up with a high school friend who also happens to be visiting the same week! I need to start planning! I won’t be there long, but I can’t wait to wander and take in all of the sights.
Have you been? Would love any recs! Have a great weekend xo

Have a great weekend, xo

And then I’ll be watching the Oscars on Sunday night to see if my Uncle Pat wins for his work as VFX Supervisor for Solo! 🤞🤞🤞Enjoy your weekend! xo

Here we are again! Happy Friday :) I celebrated my boo yesterday with a lovely homemade Valentine’s Day dinner, and tonight I celebrate 2 wonder friends with a Galentine’s sleepover! Wine, face masks and snacks :) Did I mention we finally ordered our Article Sven sofa?! I am dying to have it arrive - should be any day now! Have a wonderful weekend xo

Oops, another forgotten Friday post! But, happy Wednesday, happy Galentine’s Day, and Valentine’s Day eve…is that a thing? haha. This week is flying by already - I was on press Monday & Tuesday for the most recently UConn Magazine which is exciting! I’ll probably be back for another post in 2 days so - see you soon :)

Hello, hello! TGIF 😅 What a fun (and busy) week! I saw one of my best high school friends, who lives in Arizona, while she was back in town this week, the magazine has been released to the printer, and I am off tonight for a ski weekend with friends - things are good! Hope yours is good too! xo

It’s probably because we’re in a polar vortex right now, but all I want are carby, gooey, cheesy meals - much like this amazing sweet potato gnocchi with broccoli rabe and garlic sage butter sauce *drool*. And since we’ll most likely be posted up at home for a few days, I think I might have to give this a spin!
Enjoy your frigid weekend xo
