Saturday morning Curtis and I are taking macaron class, followed by attending a birthday party where you have to wear a funny hat 🙃. Happy Friday!! 

The world cup has started! I am a big soccer fan (as in I have been playing my whole life, have been playing on a co-ed team for the last 5 years or so, and I love watching the world cup), and am very excited for these games! The US didn't qualify, so I will most likely be routing for Germany (family roots) and/or Argentina (bc Messi...) but I love a good upset - so I'm down for whatever really! I'm excited to watch a few games with my family on Sunday on Father's Day.

Happy Friday! It's been a pretty fun and chill week. And it's gonna get even more fun (but far less chill) this weekend. I'll be attending a bridal shower on Saturday and then driving up to Boston for my bestie's 29th birthday celebration! We watched Ibiza recently on Netflix and have been in dance mode since :) Party time here I come!

I'm not exactly sure what to say, but I do know that I am saddened and hope that people are getting the help they need during these dark times. This Cup of Jo article was a good read and I wanted to share. <3 And if you haven't listened to the How I Built This with Kate & Andy Spade, it's a nice little light into their professional careers.

Happy Friday, friends! This week just flew by! Probably because I was at the printer on Wednesday and Thursday for the upcoming issue of UConn Magazine - which is always an exciting feeling. And my weekend is busy busy as well - CADC show submission logging. All of the fun back-end stuff that goes along with our big annual awards show. While it's a long day, it actually is fun because we have such a good group of people and spending a long day with them (and pizza:)) isn't bad at all! Speaking of food...those.tacos.are.so.delicious. I made them a few months ago and need to make them again asap!

Happy Friday! Yesterday the most recently issue of UConn Magazine went out to the printer! Woohoo! It's always a really cool (and nerve-wrecking) feeling when another one is done! This is my 8th issue since I started there :)

A few friends and I were planning on going to Brimfield tomorrow morning, but the weather isn't looking great :( And Sunday is Mother's Day, so we'll be spending time with our Mama's that day. If we miss it this weekend, we at least have July & September!

Well, we jumped right into the heat! New England spring is always this way...50's and then 80's. My blood has not thinned out enough, but we're making do. I have a bridal shower this Saturday and then trying to find some fun Cinco de Mayo celebrations Sat night! Happy Friday! What a week! And it's snowing again - womp, womp.

Quick vent sesh: I'm still getting used to the Squarespace format for the blog and I have to say, it's not.even.close. to as good as wordpress. I LOVE the website part of things, but the blog part - ugh. I have lost and messed up tons of content since playing around on the is little blog page. And the only reason I'm mentioning this is that I lost the whole paragraph I had previously written and thought I published...:) 

Anyway, vent over. I'm excited for a chill weekend catching up from traveling. Hoping for some warmer weather soon!

Happy (Good) Friday, friends! I am heading to New Hampshire to my favorite place (our family house - that we lovingly call, The Farm - the place we got married). I am driving my Oma & Opa up and will be around family all weekend. Easter is a little different now that we're all grown up (I think I have to go buy my own peeps, thanks mom lol), but it's still such a great time to see family. 

After being in Seattle and seeing blooming trees, that beautiful painting is getting me extra excited for spring. We still have a ways to go, but it's going to be glorious. I'm hoping to post some photos next week from our trip - it was amazing!
