Well our power is out at the house which is a first for us! We’ve lucked out since getting our own places out of college and haven’t had to deal with it before. It was quite an experience getting ready for work this morning without power! It was fun for a second, but it might be a multi-day outage which isn’t quite as fun, especially since we have such a packed weekend! But we’ll figure out. I mostly just want to make sure we can watch the Bake Off finale tonight!

Hey hey, it’s Monday :) I was out of the office on Friday doing magazine research at Barnes & Noble which was really inspiring. And then we had a nice chill weekend - hung out with friends, reorganized our garage and closed up the patio for the season. This week is busy, but full of fun stuff! 2 movies for #spooktober, some halloween costume shopping and a CADC meeting! Have a great week!

Hey hey - happy Monday! Wow, I really need to stick to my guns and get these posts out on Fridays, my bad :) This weekend was our "#hometownhunnies trip (lol) - my friend Julia and I visit Reg in Boston for a girls weekend every few months and it’s the best! We’ve been friends foreverrrr but were having a hard time actually seeing each other, so we started picking a weekend and putting it on our calendar a few months in advance - and it’s been a game changer! This past weekend was as fun as ever with a random carousel ride, an all women-themed Kings game (renamed Queens, obvi) and lots of gal time! Hope you had a great weekend xo

Hi! So it’s Wednesday :) I’m going to be at the printer tomorrow and Friday for the newest UConn Mag (which hits mailboxes/goes live on Oct 15th), so I am signing off this afternoon. I’m excited for a chill weekend, we’re celebrating my MIL’s birthday on Saturday with a bunch of family, and Sunday I’ll be meeting up with some college friends from a craft day! Hi! I’m back! The photo above is from our trip to Hiawatha, KS where we spent the week visiting family (you can check out more of my photos saved to my Kansas highlight). This is my Great Uncle Steve’s pond where my dad and his cousins grew up fishing. We celebrated part of 4th of July there, taking in the scenes. It was a great week getting away, eating amazing homemade food, sharing Kansas with Curtis. Can’t wait to get back!
